A familiar situation

After a survey on site you go back to the office to write up the quote. Days later it lands in their inbox, and the client has meanwhile been talking to someone else. When the quote is approved you work out a deposit, and later you build a final invoice in which nothing is counted twice.

Where it chafes

The quote arrives too late

The longer the gap between the survey and the quote, the greater the chance the client signs elsewhere. Writing quotes up in the evening costs you free time.

Working out the deposit and final invoice

With an advance payment involved, the final invoice has to add up, with the right VAT. Doing it by hand in a spreadsheet invites mistakes.

Changes along the way

Something changes during the job. You want an updated quote with a clear version, without the old one floating around.

Made for business clients

Avsaro is for quotes and invoices to businesses, such as landlords, property managers, shops and other contractors.

The chain with Avsaro

On-site quotes and invoices for installation and construction

  1. Quote from a template

You start from a template or an earlier quote and adjust lines, quantities and hours. The total updates as you type.

  2. Show and sign on site

In presentation mode you show the quote without exposing your own administration. The client signs with a finger and confirms with a code sent by email.

  3. Deposit

After approval the deposit invoice is ready, at the percentage you agreed in the quote.

  4. New version when things change

If the job changes, you create a new version with a note on what is different.

  5. Final invoice

The final invoice deducts the deposit. The payment details are on the invoice, and you record the payment when the money arrives.

Which features count

An example: Example: a heat pump for a business premises

An imaginary installation company writes a quote of 14,200 euros excluding VAT for a business premises. The owner looks at it on a tablet on site, signs straight away and is asked for a 30 per cent deposit: 4,260 euros excluding VAT. After completion the final invoice follows for the rest.

This example is invented.

Questions

Who can I make quotes for?

For business clients, such as companies, sole traders and freelancers. They receive a quote, invoice or subscription with a personal link.

Does the client need an account to sign?

No. The client receives a personal link, reads through the quote and signs. A code sent by email confirms the approval.

What if the job changes during the work?

You create a new version of the quote with a change note, or a separate quote for the extra work. An approval after the expiry date is never accepted silently.
