Privacy statement
Here you can read which data we process when you visit this website or send us a message, why we do so and which rights you have. The website uses no analytics and sets no cookies.
1. Data controller
Assist2go is the controller for the data processed through this website.
- Address: Lindenlaan 27, 3931 ZK Woudenberg, the Netherlands
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42071129
- Email: info@assist2go.nl
This statement covers the website avsaro.com. If you use Avsaro as a customer, Assist2go processes data for you under separate arrangements. We put a data processing agreement in writing with you when you start.
2. Data we process
The website processes only what you enter yourself in the contact form or the demo request, plus technical data from the server.
- What you enter in the contact form or demo request: your name, your company, your email address and your message. The form is sent as an email to info@assist2go.nl. The website itself does not store the message in a database.
- Technical data in the server logs, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser. We use it to secure the site and investigate faults.
- To limit misuse of the forms, the server briefly checks how often an address submits a form.
3. The demo you try yourself
When you start the demo, we ask for your name and email address and, optionally, your company. We use these to make your demo work. Only if you give permission do we send you one email afterwards, with what you looked at and a suggestion for a conversation. That email contains an unsubscribe link.
We keep visitor data for 30 days at most. To avoid emailing you again after you unsubscribe, we also keep only an encrypted form of your email address. The demo environment itself, with all its sample data, is deleted after 30 minutes. The controller is Assist2go, as stated above.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your question or demo request and keeping in touch. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries from interested people and, if you ask for a quote, preparing an agreement.
- Securing the website and the forms and investigating faults. Basis: legitimate interest.
- Meeting legal obligations, for example if a conversation leads to an agreement and we have to keep records. Basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data for profiling, automated decisions or third-party advertising.
5. Retention periods
We keep messages no longer than necessary to reply to you and to handle any follow-up. If a conversation leads to an agreement, the relevant data moves to our records and the statutory retention periods apply, for example 7 years for financial data. We keep server logs no longer than necessary for security and for investigating faults.
6. Recipients of data
The message from the form reaches us through our email provider. That provider handles it on our behalf, as a processor, and we make agreements about how personal data is treated. For hosting the website we use a hosting provider that processes technical data.
We do not sell your data or pass it on for commercial purposes. We choose processors that offer appropriate safeguards. If a processor handles data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure an appropriate measure is in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to the data we process about you
- rectification of incorrect data
- erasure of your data, unless a statutory retention duty applies
- restriction of processing
- portability of your data in a commonly used format
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest
To make a request, email info@assist2go.nl. We reply within a month. We may first ask you to confirm that you are the person concerned.
8. Making a complaint
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
9. Cookies, analytics and profiling
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing trackers. You can read more in the cookie policy. We do not build profiles of visitors.
10. Changes
We may update this statement, for example if the website changes. The date at the top shows when the text was last updated. This text is general information and not legal advice.
